The Spinner II centrifuge is a highly efficient bypass filtration device. It diverts a small sidestream of oil for processing and returns clean oil to the crankcase. Powered only by engine oil pressure, the centrifuge operates at speeds in excess of 6,000 rpm, generating a force more than 2,000 times greater than gravity. This force slings contaminants smaller than one micron out of your oil and packs them into a dense cake on the wall of the cleanable centrifuge bowl. A Spinner II centrifuge flows up to two gallons of oil every minute, allowing it to clean the entire sump capacity of a typical heavy-duty engine 10-15 times an hour. This demonstration shows the Model 936 centrifuge, which has a reusable rotor. The Model 560HE centrifuge operates by the same principles, but has a sealed, single-use, disposable rotor.

Biodiesel Production

Spinner II centrifuges are the simple, fast and highly efficient way to purify biodiesel. They are effective at removing solid particulate like synthetic magnesium silicate. Spinner II centrifuges provide speed, economy and productivity that settling tanks and filters cannot match. Their constant efficiency gives you the opportunity to choose either batch or continuous production.

Oil-cleaning Centrigues

The Spinner II oil-cleaning centrifuge is a permanent, reusable bypass filtration unit for diesel engines. It's used in addition to your full-flow oil filter to keep oil cleaner, make oil and filters last longer, and protect engines better. There are three models that handle most fleet trucking applications: Model 960 (120 gal/hr), Model 560HE (disposable rotor) and Model 936 (60 gal/hr). Spinner II centrifuges have been used on over a million trucks. They are trusted by major U.S. fleets and have installed as original equipment by more than 40 engine OEM's worldwide.

Centrifuges for transit service

The Spinner II oil-cleaning centrifuge is a permanent, reusable bypass filtration unit for diesel engines. It's used in addition to your full-flow oil filter to keep oil cleaner, make oil and filters last longer, and protect engines better. With more than 12,000 units in operation on virtually every major transit fleet throughout North America, it's the trusted solution for engine protection, cost savings and environmental benefits.
